Seis Horas: Aftermath

(To download Seis Horas absolutely fuckedtronicly free, click here.)

"Euphoberia rocks me."

"Nada más oí esa que el nombre empezaba con E."

"¿Ora ya eres músico?"

"Pues felicidades por tu disco, especie de Odín electrónico malhabido."

"¡Está ponchador!"

"Suena a que Jean Michel Jarre, Squarepusher y el Conde Drácula, después de compartir una descomunal borrachera -entiendase esto como un embriagamiento no solo etílico- decidieran, aún en estado alterado, grabar un album que amalgamara sus gustos personales."

"Fuckedtronic is pretty self explanatory."

That said just let me clear air a bit. I know you're all assuming fuckedtronic as the joke it is. I mean, it sure sounds cool, that's why I'm using it but I'm quite concious It's a way to mock at genres themselves. Sure I'm creating something new, but first of all I'm not a musician so I have no right to stand and say "this is the new shit, pals!" and second genres one after another are just the same: they try to break up with the old rules but in the process they create new ones and become just as boring as their predecessors. To me is not about that. I think It's just playing or programming the sounds you feel like, stick to no rule but discipline to keep on trying as many times as needed until it sounds like you want it to sound. That would be the spirit of fuckedtronicness if any...and the use of real drums samples as much as possible (or real ones if you have them, i wish I did). My point is you don't need a genre to know you're listening to something exceptional -as in exceptionally ugly or beauty, whichever you feel. Or do you? Fuck it. Or fucktronicize it, whatever, but have a nice day and listen to the godhellspawned music, yeh?
